I write for the sake of writing. I don’t care if I get money out of it. I want my voice heard, I want to be known as a writer. I want all my years of struggling to pay off, but not with money. Just with recognition. Just having people know that I can write, that I have a talent, is enough for me. I don’t give a damn about money, whether I get a single dollar for my stories or whether I get a million dollars.

My writing is me, it’s part of me, and I made sure of that. I take careful precautions to ensure that no one takes it from me, that no one steals my writing. The major stories I write aren’t posted here for a reason. If someone takes what I am and calls it their own, who would I be?

I don’t write for money. I write for the sake of writing. I write for myself.
And even for others.
